How Many (movie) Feet Do You Have?
Easy way to figure how many feet of film you have is to measure the diameter of the reel where the outer edge of the film is. This will tell you approximately how many feet you have. You don't have to be exact because we will know how many feet you have when we are done. Please: just try not to OVER estimate. Better to estimage low and not send too big of a deposit. We will bill you for whatever balance is owed when we are finished. See examples, below, for how to measure and estimate the amount of film footage you have. (16mm Movie Reels of approximately the reel same size will typically have twice as much film on them because the hub is smaller and the reels are slightly larger.)
